JOHN DUNNE SENTENCED IN SWINDON FOR SEVEN-YEAR CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE IN WESTON-SUPER-MARE

A man identified as John Dunne has been handed a significant prison sentence after being found guilty of committing a series of heinous sexual offenses against a young girl over a period of seven years. Dunne, aged 53, who was formerly a resident of Swindon and at the time of sentencing living in Weston-super-Mare, faced multiple charges that included rape and engaging in sexual activities with a minor. The court proceedings revealed the disturbing extent of his misconduct, which spanned from 2004 to 2013, beginning when the victim was only seven years old.

During the trial, prosecutors detailed how Dunne would manipulate and exploit his young victim by dressing her in adult underwear and taking inappropriate photographs.
