April 2003 Paedophiles sentenced A flight lieutenant and a hospital worker have been jailed for separate child pornography offences. Both men pleaded guilty at Swindon Crown Court. Flight Lieutenant Michael Jones, 41, from RAF Lyneham faced three counts of making and three counts of possessing indecent photographs of children. The prosecution said the pornography was discovered when military police searched his mess room. Around 470 images involving youngsters were found stored on a CD Rom. He was sentenced to four months in prison and placed on the sex offenders’ register for seven years. In a separate trial, 38-year-old computer technician Mark Cresswell, who worked at the Great Western Hospital in Swindon, pleaded guilty to possessing indecent photographs of children. He was also sentenced to four months in prison.
