COUPLE JAILED FOR 'SYSTEMIC ABUSE' OF YOUNG GIRLS
A man and woman who repeatedly abused three young girls to satisfy their own sexual curiosities have been jailed by the courts.John Blake, 61, exploited his victims with assistance from his 31-year-old partner, Emmalene Jones, who was implicated in the abuse, police reports stated.
The court sentenced Blake to 26 years after he was convicted of 14 charges of sexual abuse.
Jones received a two-year sentence after being found guilty of two counts of coercing a child into sexual acts.
Cheshire Police confirmed that the offenses occurred within the county across approximately seven years, involving victims aged between 9 and 15.
Judge Steven Everett described Blake as a 'sexual monster' with unusual sexual urges who targeted three young girls, according to a police spokesperson.
It was also revealed in court that although Jones was under Blake’s influence, she attempted to encourage the children to participate in the sexual activities.
Detective Jessica Barlow praised the victims’ bravery, stating, "who had the courage to come forward".
"What Blake and Jones did to them is truly horrifying, they systematically abused the girls over a number of years in order to fulfil their own sexual gratification," she said.
"While Jones was not directly involved in all of the offences, she was well aware of what Blake was doing and was complicit in his actions.
"Not only that, but the pair made the victims endure a trial and recount what they had done to them, which was extremely distressing." Blake, of Crabwell Place, Chester, was ordered to remain on the sex offenders’ register for life.
Jones, also from the same location, must remain registered for a decade.
