JASON ELTON JOHN WALLER, 33, ADDED TO UK'S MOST WANTED LIST IN PLYMOUTH
Jason Elton John Waller, aged 33, was convicted in 2000 for indecent assaults against three children and received a three-year prison sentence. However, in March this year, he went on the run from his home in Plymouth.
Recently, Waller was listed on the UK’s Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP) Most Wanted website as part of efforts by Devon and Cornwall Police to locate him.
Detective Superintendent John Clements, head of public protection at the force, stated: “By going missing, the risk that Waller poses to children is increased.
So far, we have made every effort to find him through traditional police procedures and are now extending our search by leveraging the power of the internet.” Waller, who previously lived in Basingstoke two years ago and currently has no fixed address, is known for leading a nomadic lifestyle, moving across various towns and cities in England and Wales.
He is described as white, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, overweight, with short brown hair that is receding.
Waller speaks with a West Country accent and has previously been seen with a moustache and beard.
He is wanted for failing to comply with notification requirements under the Sexual Offences Act 2003, which can result in a maximum sentence of five years in prison.
Jim Gamble, chief executive of CEOP, mentioned, “Since the launch of the Most Wanted website three years ago, 14 out of the 17 offenders featured on the site have been located.”
