GERARD FOX FROM STONEHOUSE JAILED FOR HORRIFIC BESTIALITY AND CHILD PORNOGRAPHY IN LANARKSHIRE

In a disturbing case that has shocked the community of Stonehouse, Lanarkshire, Gerard Fox, a 66-year-old retired logistics manager, has been sentenced to prison after authorities uncovered a horrifying collection of illegal and depraved material stored on his personal devices. The investigation revealed that Fox had amassed a large and disturbing archive of explicit images and videos, including those involving animals and children, which he kept between a laptop and an external hard drive.

The police action was initiated after they traced his online activity through his IP address, which indicated he was downloading extreme pornography and indecent images of minors. The authorities discovered that Fox possessed a staggering total of 36,405 indecent images of children, with nearly 3,000 classified as the most extreme and disturbing. These images were stored in well-organized folders on his devices, suggesting a deliberate effort to categorize and access such material easily.

Further investigation uncovered that Fox had been actively sharing his warped fantasies with others via Skype, engaging in conversations with like-minded adult males. During these exchanges, he openly expressed a sexual interest in animals, which was corroborated by the evidence found on his devices. Among the most shocking findings were 1,414 images and videos depicting women engaging in sexual acts with animals such as dogs, snakes, and eels. These images were part of a larger collection that demonstrated a disturbing pattern of zoophilic behavior.

Fox’s criminal activities spanned from June 2015 to August 2018, during which he admitted to owning and viewing the illicit material. His case was brought before Hamilton Sheriff Court, where he pleaded guilty to possessing the extensive collection of illegal images and videos. Sheriff Thomas Millar sentenced Fox to 18 months in prison, emphasizing the severity of the crimes and the need for a custodial sentence under the guidelines for such offenses.

In addition to his imprisonment, Fox was placed on the sex offenders register for a period of ten years, reflecting the serious concern about his potential risk to children and the community.
