December 2017 Stonehouse man ordered to sign sex offender register A 62-YEAR-OLD Stonehouse man, who was caught with 12 indecent images of a 17-year-old child on his computer, was ordered by a judge to sign the sex offender register pending sentence. At Gloucester Crown Court on Friday, December 22, Wilfred Adams of Park Road, Stonehouse, admitted having the images of the most serious Category A between May 18 and May 21 this year. The judge, Recorder Frank Abbott, said that in the circumstances he needed a probation service pre-sentence report on Adams to see if they recommended an alternative to prison. A sex offender course may be a viable alternative, he said. Adams was bailed till February 2, having been told he must sign the sex offender register in the meantime.
