August 1999 Evil father rapes own daughter Frank Jarvis pictured above in 2009 A Peckham dad who raped his own 16 year old daughter as she mourned at her dead mother’s bedside has been jailed for just 10 years. The evil beast, who was convicted of seven counts of indecent assault and six counts of rape, had been abusing his own flesh and blood from when she was just eight years old The last depraved attack on the girl took place as she stood crying over her recently deceased mother’s body. Her mother who died of secondary breast cancer last summer, was laid out on a bed when he came in and once again forced his daughter to have sex with him But this time the sick pervert was not able to stop the girl from leaving.  During the many years of systematic abuse, Frank Jarvis had told his daughter, if she left or told anyone what he had been doing, he would take it out on her mother. But with her mother now tragically gone, she packed her bags and left In December 1998, she contacted the police after she had a daughter of her own and was worried that one day he might start abusing her child. Frank Jarvis was arrested on Jan 3rd, 1999 and was sentenced at the old bailey last month.  Bravely taking the stand, the girl who is now 18 years old told the jury – through floods of tears – of the years of horrific abuse she suffered at the hands of her deranged father’s hand’s between the ages of 8 and 13 In the following three years – Until her mother’s untimely death – her warped father, who used to dj in pubs up and down the Walworth road (He used the country & western name of fungus face) and would take her to nearby bushes in Burgess park to rape and sexually assault her She told police he had been arrested for hitting her mother on several occasions, but her mum always withdrew her allegations. The daughter said she was scared of going to the police, fearing her mother would get the brunt of her father’s anger.  During his trial in June 1999, her father denied all thirteen charges brought against him and said she was making it up to try and get compensation But prior to and during the trial she made no application for any compensation It took the jury a matter of hours to find the vile pervert guilty on all charges.  He was sentenced to 10 years for each rape and 4 years for indecent assault charge to run concurrently.
