BENN RYAN LEICESTER DOG ABUSE SCANDAL
In a disturbing incident that has shocked the local community in Leicester, Benn Ryan, born around 1988 and currently without a fixed address, was caught on camera physically assaulting his dog.The footage, which quickly circulated on social media platforms, shows Ryan striking the animal, causing it to yelp in obvious pain and distress.
Police officers, who responded promptly to the scene, witnessed Ryan hitting the dog and immediately took him into custody.
The incident occurred on Monday, March 11, 2024, and the footage captured during the event has raised serious concerns about animal cruelty in the area.
Following his arrest, Ryan appeared in court where he pleaded guilty to charges of causing unnecessary suffering to an animal.
Additionally, he admitted to possessing Class B drugs at the time of his arrest.
As a result, he was fined £80.
