WILLIAM BRADY SENTENCED FOR MURDERING EX-PARTNER PAULINE SWEENEY IN COVENTRY

William Brady, 56 years old, has been found guilty of the murder of his former partner, Pauline Sweeney, at her residence on Long Close Avenue in Coventry. The tragic incident took place on March 20th, when Brady fatally stabbed Ms. Sweeney. A neighbor witnessed Brady outside her home, crying and declaring, "I've killed her." Brady pleaded guilty to the murder charge on September 19th. On the same day, Warwick Crown Court sentenced him to at least 19 years in prison before he becomes eligible for parole.

Although police arrived promptly after the neighbor alerted them and provided first aid, Ms. Sweeney died from her wounds shortly after. Brady, who lives on Long Close Avenue nearby, was detained and charged with her murder. Warwickshire police stated that no clear motive behind the attack has been identified.

Ms. Sweeney was a mother to seven children. Her children described her as "a beautiful person" who "made friends and memories everywhere she went." They also shared that she had "the kindest heart" and was always smiling, despite facing personal struggles. In their statement, they expressed that while nothing can ease the pain of losing her, they believe she is always watching over them.
