MERSEYSIDE WOMAN WHO PLOTTED CHILD ABUSE NOW LIVING IN MERSEYSIDE
Susan Barnett, now 33, who was described as an "utterly depraved" paedophile willing to help her husband carry out a child rape, is currently residing in Merseyside.She admitted to breaching a Sexual Offences Prevention Order by making contact with two minors.
Having relocated to Merseyside, Barnett appeared at Liverpool Crown Court to face new charges.
Previously of Beechwood Road, she was convicted in 2015 alongside her husband Kevin Barnett and Nikita Moore for sharing disturbing plans to sexually abuse children, with all three involved in discussions of such heinous acts.
Kevin Barnett, aged 28, received a six-year prison sentence, Susan Barnett was sentenced to four and a half years, and Moore to four years.
Judge Cornwall highlighted how their disturbing sexual exchanges eventually included detailed plans to exploit children, noting that their willingness to pursue such depravity was driven by their desperation to restore their relationship with Kevin Barnett, leading them to act on every horrendous suggestion.
Susan also shared explicit images and discussed the possibility of having a child to abuse collectively, and was criticized for her failure to show outrage at her husband's twisted proposals, which was considered to be her "eternal shame."
