SOUTHAMPTON MAN STUART MURDOCH JAILED FOR CHILD SEX OFFENCES
Stuart Murdoch, who has no association with the children's home in Southampton where some of the victims lived, received a five-year prison sentence for sexual crimes involving a third underage boy.The 53-year-old, residing on Tankerville Road in Southampton, was found guilty last month of five sexual offense charges against a boy under 16 years old.
Although Murdoch denied all allegations, he eventually pleaded guilty, which eliminated the need for a trial.
During sentencing, Judge Nicolas Rowland criticized Murdoch for attempting to shift blame onto the victim, highlighting that the jury was able to see through his assertions.
The victims' ages ranged from 11 to 13.
Additionally, Murdoch was mandated to register as a sex offender for life.
