MAN JAILED FOR SIXTEEN MONTHS AFTER BEING FOUND GUILTY OF INDECENT EXPOSURE AND COMMON ASSAULT
A 38-year-old man received a 16-month prison sentence after being convicted of indecent exposure and admitting to charges of common assault at Portsmouth Crown Court.
SukIRTHan Thangrasha, a foreign national residing on Highfield Lane in Southampton and originally from Sri Lanka, was found guilty of assaulting a 25-year-old man on Friday, 15 August 2025, at his residence in Southampton.
The victim was not seriously injured.
Following this incident, Thangrasha also indecently exposed himself to individuals inside the property.
During proceedings, Thangrasha was convicted on Wednesday, 11 March 2026, of indecent exposure under Section 66 of the Sexual Offences Act 2003.
