SHANE CLARKE FROM SOUTH OCKENDON SENTENCED FOR YEARS OF SEXUAL ABUSE IN THURROCK AND AVELEY

In a case that has shocked the local community, Shane Clarke, a 35-year-old man from South Ockendon, has been sentenced to nearly nine years in prison following a series of disturbing sexual offenses committed against a young girl. The crimes, which spanned over two years, involved multiple instances of abuse that took place in the vicinity of Aveley, a nearby area within Thurrock.

Clarke’s heinous actions came to light after the victim reported the abuse to authorities. The incidents occurred on more than 15 separate occasions between August 2019 and April 2021, during which Clarke engaged in sexual activity with the young girl.
