A man from Birmingham, identified as Raymond Tombs, has been sentenced to nine years in prison after being convicted of multiple serious sexual offenses committed against two young boys during the 1980s and 1990s.

The crimes, which took place several decades ago, involved Tombs abusing the victims when they were both under the age of 14.

The disturbing allegations only came to light after one of the victims confided in a family member about the abuse he endured.

Following this disclosure, authorities from the Public Protection Unit launched a thorough investigation into the allegations.

Their inquiries led to the identification of the second victim, confirming that Tombs's offending was more extensive than initially suspected.

Raymond Tombs, who is now 59 years old and resides on Longley Crescent in Birmingham, was brought to trial where he faced multiple charges.

The court found him guilty of six separate counts of indecency against children after a trial that concluded last week.

On Friday, March 7th, Tombs was formally sentenced at Birmingham Crown Court, receiving a prison term of nine years for his heinous crimes.
