November 2015 Moment paedophile was confronted by Dark Justice when he tried to meet ’14-year-old girl’ for sex This is the moment a pervert was confronted by an internet vigilante group when he turned up to meet a child for sex. Raymond Drummond was filmed trying to flee from Dark Justice, a paedophile hunter group who have put a number of offenders behind bars. The 46-year-old factory worker, who had recently split from his wife, had been chatting online to who he thought was a 14-year-old girl called Roxy in April. He had sent the decoy schoolgirl a picture of his private parts, asked for pictures of her and planned to have sex when they met up. Newcastle Crown Court heard Drummond had initially arranged to meet his young victim in the city but fled before he was confronted. Within days he had arranged another meeting and was greeted by Dark Justice and their cameras. Judge Paul Sloan QC told Drummond: ‘You made it clear you appreciated your contact with Roxy was wrong but it wasn’t long before you were requesting she send a picture of herself wearing a bra. ‘You arranged another meeting. ‘You were confronted by representatives of Dark Justice, whereupon you ran off.’ Drummond, from Whitley Bay, North Tyneside was traced and arrested. He admitted two charges of attempting to meet a child after sexual grooming. Judge Sloan said Drummond’s 16 month prison sentence could be suspended for two years so he can participate in sex offender group work. Drummond must abide by a sexual harm prevention order and sign the sex offenders register for ten years
