JONATHAN ARMSTRONG SENTENCED FOR MANSLAUGHTER IN WHITLEY BAY TRAGEDY
Jonathan Armstrong, a man from Whitley Bay, was found guilty of manslaughter in connection with the death of his boyfriend, Dean Bowe.
The tragic incident took place at a flat located on South Parade in Whitley Bay on September 7.
Authorities reported that Bowe, aged 32, was discovered with a severe head injury at the scene.

Following the court proceedings at Newcastle Crown Court, Armstrong, who is 44 years old and also resides at the same address on South Parade, was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison for his role in the assault.

Instead, he left Bowe lying unconscious on the floor for over an hour before finally calling emergency services.
