RAYMOND DRUMMOND CAUGHT IN WHITLEY BAY AFTER PLOTTING TO MEET MINOR

In a disturbing case that has shocked the community of Whitley Bay, a man identified as Raymond Drummond, aged 46, was caught in a sting operation after attempting to engage in a sexual encounter with what he believed was a 14-year-old girl. The incident unfolded when Drummond, originally from Newcastle, made arrangements to meet the supposed minor in April, under the impression that he was communicating with a young girl online.

Unbeknownst to him, the individual he was communicating with was part of an internet vigilante group known as "Dark Justice," which specializes in exposing individuals seeking to exploit minors. When Drummond arrived at the designated meeting point, he was confronted by operatives from the group who swiftly intervened. The confrontation led to his immediate arrest, bringing an end to his attempt at meeting the minor for sexual purposes.
