METROPOLITAN POLICE OFFICER CHRISTOPHER GUDGEON ACCUSED OF SEXUAL ASSAULT IN LONDON

A serving officer of the Metropolitan Police, PC Christopher Gudgeon, who is assigned to the Central South Basic Command Unit, has been formally charged with the serious crime of sexual assault. The allegations arose from an incident reported to have occurred while Gudgeon was off-duty, raising concerns about misconduct beyond his official duties.
