November 27, 2008 Sex offender handed a community order A TUNBRIDGE Wells man has been put on the sex offenders’ register for five years. Paul Weedon, 37, of Park Road, was handed the sentence on Friday for the charges of possessing an indecent photograph of a child and making an indecent photograph of a child. Chairman of the bench at Sevenoaks Magistrates Court Jeff Owen said: “For the two offences to which you pleaded guilty we impose a community order for 24 months.” He added that he would require supervision over the same period and he would also need to attend an accredited sex offenders’ programme. Weedon was also ordered to pay £500 prosecution costs, and was told that he would appear on the sex offenders’ register from the time he pleaded guilty to the charges, which was October 8.
