Paul Towers, 51, denied the seven counts against him but he was found guilty of each by a 6-3 majority at trial last month. Towers had tried to blame his crime on his ex-wife, who had reported the pornography to police, and during their turbulent relationship she had accused him of trying to poison her. Towers had a total of 147 still images on his machine and seven videos, though all had been deleted and could be recovered only with specialist software by forensics.
