January 2011 Man jailed for child abuse images A Guernsey man has been jailed for three months after possessing indecent images of children. Stephen Mark Du Feu, 50, appeared in Guernsey’s Magistrates’ Court on Thursday facing eight charges. Du Feu had already pleaded guilty to all eight, which related to a total of 267 images and three films on computer hard drives he owned. He was investigated in 2009 after Lothian and Borders Police in Scotland examined his e-mail chatroom accounts. During sentencing, magistrate Philip Robey said Du Feu’s life had been wrecked by the case but gave him credit for entering a guilty plea.
