December 2017 Derby pervert shared sick child abuse image on WhatsApp A pervert from Derby who sent a disgusting child sexual abuse image to other people on WhatsApp has been jailed for 18 months. Nadeem Abis distributed an image of an underage girl performing a sex act on a boy aged between six and eight to 12 people in his mobile phone contacts book. The 36-year-old, of Becher Street, Normanton, was also found to have more vile images and movies involving children as young as five on his phone. And Derby Crown Court was also told how he broke a previous sex offender order because he was found to be living with two girls aged under 18. Jailing him, Judge Jonathan Bennett said: “You have been described by the probation service as someone who poses a high risk of sexual harm to children. “These images and movies are of real children who have been abused and that is why Parliament takes it as seriously as they do. “It is not just a fantasy, these images are created to satisfy people such as you.” Sarah Slater, prosecuting, said police made an “unannounced” visit to Abis’ home on July 8. They seized his phone and on examination discovered 21 child abuse images and film, 15 of which were the most serious category A. They also discovered he had distributed one of the most serious to a dozen people in his contact book through the messaging site WhatsApp. Miss Slater said: “There were images of boys and girls aged from five to teens and the image distributed was of a girl aged 12 to 14 performing a sex act on a boy aged six to eight. “Internet sites that the police found the defendant had visited included ones with titles such as ‘family porn’ and ‘tiny teens’ but officers cannot tell if he actively searched for them.” Miss Slater said Abis had been given a sex offender notification in July 2015 after being convicted of indecent exposure. Under its terms he must tell the police if he is living in the same property as anyone aged under 18. But he failed to inform them two girls aged 15 and 16 were at the same property where he was residing. Miss Slater said following his arrest, Abis made “full admissions” to his offending. He pleaded guilty to making indecent images of children, distribution of an indecent images and possessing extreme pornographic images. He also admitted failing to comply with the terms of the sex offender’s register.
