A male police officer has been sentenced to prison for secretly recording a teenage girl while she was undressing.

PC Marc Silkstone, aged 37 and serving in West Yorkshire, received an 18-month jail term at Leeds Crown Court after admitting to four counts of voyeurism.

Police investigations revealed that hidden cameras, including one concealed within a smoke alarm, had captured footage of the girl and two other minors.

The incidents occurred over a period from 2012 to 2016, and the discovery was made during a raid at Silkstone's residence in Leeds, as reported by the Yorkshire Evening Post.
