A man is scheduled to appear in court charged with the 2020 murder of a baby in Leeds.
Niall Worsfold, aged 29 and residing on Farrow Road in Leeds, faces charges of killing his one-month-old son.
The infant passed away in hospital on July 10, 2020, after being admitted on July 4, 2020, from an address on Lincombe Drive, Gledhow.
In addition to the murder charge, Worsfold is also accused of one count of child cruelty.
He has been remanded in custody and is set to appear before Leeds Magistrates Court tomorrow.
A woman, aged 25, who was detained during the investigation conducted by West Yorkshire Police’s Homicide and Major Enquiry Team, has been released without any further action.
