VILE DERBY PAEDOPHILE WATCHED AS BABIES AND YOUNG CHILDREN WERE ABUSED
Warning: This article contains details that may be upsetting to some readers.A 22-year-old man from Derby, Luke Ringer, has been convicted after police found nearly 3,000 disturbing images of child abuse on his devices.
Ringer admitted to sexually touching himself while viewing explicit images and videos of babies and prepubescent children being exploited.
Derby Crown Court was told that he had been deriving sexual satisfaction from these horrific materials for over seven years.
During an early morning police raid on July 8, 2020, authorities seized his mobile phone and computer tower.
They discovered a total of approximately 3,000 illegal images and videos, which included depraved content such as adults engaging in sex with animals.
Web search terms used by Ringer indicated he was seeking illegal pornography.
The police report highlighted that among the images were Category A images, considered the most serious, depicting very young children being raped by adults.
There were also 289 Category B images, two movies, 751 Category C photographs, 1,700 animated images of children, and 34 stills involving bestiality.
Prosecutor Stephen Kemp explained, “Police received information that an email address linked to Ringer was being used to download child abuse images.
Shortly before 7 a.m.
on July 8, 2020, officers carried out a raid on his home and found him present.
The devices seized contained the disturbing material.” The police found that Ringer, who lives on Kedleston Street, had used these images to satisfy his sexual urges, claiming he found it a taboo subject.
He stated, “He admitted he used the images to touch himself sexually and said it was because it was a taboo subject.
He said he was not sexually attracted to children and had never abused a child.” Ringer pleaded guilty to charges of possession of indecent images of children, extreme pornographic images, and prohibited indecent images.
Supporting him in court was an older man and woman.
He has no prior convictions.
Judge Martin Hurst chose to suspend his prison sentence, remarking, “The children you look at on the internet are real children being raped in real time very often by their own parents.
And those are the images you uploaded for your own gratification.
I hope you understand that?
You say you don't have a sexual interest in children, but the rest of us find that completely impossible to understand.” In addition to an eight-month sentence suspended for two years, the court ordered Ringer to complete 200 hours of unpaid work, pay £300 in costs, attend a 43-day sex offender treatment program, and participate in 45 rehabilitation sessions.
Furthermore, he was issued a 10-year sexual harm prevention order, placed on the sex offender register for the same period, and is subject to additional restrictions as determined by the court.
