CONVICTED (2021) | illegal puppy trader Laura Duffy, born 14 September 2000, of 55 East Lancashire Road, Walton, Liverpool L11 7AY Duffy was prosecuted following investigations into the unlicensed sale of puppies across Merseyside. The proceedings against her were brought by Animal Protection Services, a charity which investigates and prosecutes organised animal cruelty. Duffy admitted carrying out an activity without a licence and also engaging in unfair commercial practice . Sentencing | fined £500 and ordered to pay a £500 contribution to prosecution costs.
