ABERDEEN MAN CONVICTED AFTER TWO DOMESTIC ASSAULTS IN WICK
An Aberdeen man named Kevin Wilson, aged 33, has been convicted of domestic abuse involving two separate women, and he has received a community punishment and court orders.
The first incident occurred on December 8, 2019, when Wilson was involved in a dispute with his then-girlfriend at their home in West Banks Terrace, Wick.
According to Grant McLennan, the couple had been drinking heavily when disagreements arose around 1am, and Wilson grabbed and pushed the woman, causing her to fall and hit her head.
The second assault happened on September 7, 2023, with Wilson's new partner following a disagreement in their residence on Green Road, Wick.
In this incident, Wilson again pushed her, causing her to fall and hit her head.
Wilson pleaded guilty to both charges and was sentenced by Wick Sheriff Court.
He was ordered to complete 125 hours of unpaid community work within a year and to follow the requirements of the Caledonian Programme for men convicted of domestic abuse.
Additionally, the sheriff issued two non-harassment orders prohibiting him from any contact with the victims involved.
