April 2014 – Currently lives in baldock and works in stevenage February 2003 Computer programmer jailed for keeping child abuse pictures POLICE who raided the Warrington home of a computer programmer found 11,000 pornographic images – including 228 indecent pictures of children, a court heard. Quizzed by police shortly after the early morning swoop, Kevin Fullerton, aged 22, confessed that there were “five or six” photographs or pseudo-photographs of children among a collection of CD-ROMS seized from his flat. But Warrington Crown Court was told that when officers examined his computer hard drive, which was also confiscated as part of the inquiry, they discovered dozens of child sexual abuse images which had been downloaded from the Internet. This week Fullerton, who admitted an offence of possessing indecent photographs of children, is beginning a three-month prison sentence. He must also sign the Sex Offenders’ Register for seven years. Jailing him, Judge Elystan Morgan said: “The making of such photos involves the abuse of children and that is, in one respect, the central gravity of this situation. “It is an industry which is founded on abuse.” Prosecutors refused to reveal where the police raid on Fullerton took place in Warrington – but he has moved to an address in Huggins Lane, Hatfield, Hertfordshire, since his arrest. The court heard that around a few dozen of the 228 images showed youngsters involved in sexual activity, and that one depicted sex between a young girl and a man. Defence counsel Oliver Jarvis said that his client had downloaded indecent images for his own personal use but had not shared information with other users of such sites. He said that the single most serious picture was not representative of the collection. Mr Jarvis urged the judge to impose a three-year rehabilitation order on Fullerton, but he instead decided to jail him.
