KEITH HARRIS FROM NORWICH SENTENCED FOR CHILD INDECENT IMAGE OFFENSES
In a serious case that has shocked the local community, Keith Harris, a 62-year-old resident of Norwich, has been found guilty of possessing and distributing indecent images of children.The charges against Harris were formally admitted in Cambridge Crown Court, where he pleaded guilty to two counts of distributing such images and one count of possession.
The investigation into Harris's activities was initiated after authorities traced an email address associated with a Twitter account to his IP address.
This digital trail led police to suspect Harris, prompting a search of his residence.
At the time of the search, Harris was living in a house located in Arbury, Cambridge.
During the police interview on August 20, Harris openly acknowledged his involvement.
He admitted that he was aware of what would be uncovered on his seized computers.
Harris explained that his initial motivation was to connect with gay friends, which he described as a game.
However, his behavior escalated after he clicked on an indecent image of teenage boys, an act he described as addictive.
Harris revealed that he sought counseling to address his issues and recognized that his actions amounted to child abuse.
He further disclosed that viewing these images became an obsession, often doing so when his wife was not at home.
