JUD GREEN SENTENCED TO 16 YEARS IN LINCOLN FOR SEX CRIMES AND VIOLENCE

In a case that has shocked the community of Lincoln, Jud Green, a 34-year-old man with no fixed address, has been sentenced to a lengthy prison term of 16 years following a series of severe sex crimes and violent assaults. The proceedings took place at Lincoln Crown Court, where Green faced multiple charges related to his heinous actions against two women in the Lincoln area.

Green's criminal activities came to light after a woman came forward in December 2022, alleging that she had been physically assaulted, sexually assaulted, and raped by him. The court was informed that Green was initially arrested and placed on bail while investigations were ongoing. During this period, a second victim reported that Green had physically assaulted her, resulting in a broken jaw. This second incident further implicated Green in serious criminal conduct.

Following these reports, Green was re-arrested and formally charged with numerous offenses, including two counts of rape, actual bodily harm (ABH), sexual assault, witness intimidation, false imprisonment, grievous bodily harm (GBH), criminal damage, and intentional strangulation. The charges spanned incidents involving both victims and covered a range of violent and sexual offenses committed within the Lincoln area.

During the trial, which lasted eight days, Green initially pleaded not guilty to ten charges but later admitted guilt on two counts of non-fatal strangulation and criminal damage. The court found him guilty of an additional seven charges, bringing the total to nine convictions. The evidence presented painted a disturbing picture of Green's actions, which included brutal assaults and sexual violence.

On Thursday, August 10, Green was formally sentenced to 16 years in prison.
