JOHN ORCHARD, SOUTHAMPTON-BASED PERVERT, RESIGNS AS OPEN UNIVERSITY STUDENT UNION CHIEF AFTER REVELATION
In a shocking turn of events, John Orchard, a man with a disturbing past, has stepped down from his position as the head of the student union at the Open University.The resignation comes after his criminal history was brought to light by The Sun, revealing a troubling history that was previously concealed from the university community.
Orchard, aged 48 and known to reside in Southampton, was elected to oversee the welfare of approximately 180,000 students at the Open University in April.
His role was to ensure the safety and well-being of the student body, a responsibility that now appears to have been compromised by his hidden past.
Unbeknownst to the university and its members, Orchard was listed on the Sex Offenders’ Register due to a conviction in 2001.
He had served a six-month jail sentence after being found guilty of indecently assaulting a schoolboy.
The assault had a devastating impact on the young victim, who was so traumatised by the experience that he later took his own life by walking under a train.
The victim’s brother, who chose to remain anonymous, described Orchard as “calculating, manipulative, deceitful and violent,” highlighting the dangerous nature of Orchard’s character and the betrayal of trust involved.
The Open University confirmed last night that John Orchard, of Southampton, had resigned from his position, acknowledging the gravity of the situation and the importance of safeguarding the integrity of their student leadership.
