Description A Halewood man has been jailed for breaching an order by possessing sexual images of children. John Charles Hamilton, 40 years, of Ribble Road, Halewood was sentenced to two years and nine months imprisonment at Liverpool Crown Court on Thursday 1 February. Hamilton pleaded guilty to breaching of Sexual Harm Prevention Order and possess indecent photograph/pseudo - photograph of a child. The court heard that in October last year, officers conducted a routine visit to his home under the Sexual Harm Prevention Order imposed on him. Officers were checking his electronic devices and noticed a screen shot of a toddler saved to his tablet which is a breach of his terms. All his devices were seized and detectives found more images of children under 16 years on them. The Sex Offender Unit ensure that sex offenders living in the community are closely monitored.
