JEFFREY COLLEY FROM BOURNEMOUTH SENTENCED FOR RAPE OF GIRL 23 YEARS AGO

In a case that has spanned over two decades, Jeffrey Colley, a 56-year-old man from Bournemouth, Dorset, was sentenced to eight years in prison for the heinous crimes committed against a young girl in 1975. The victim, who was only 14 years old at the time, endured a traumatic ordeal that would leave lasting scars. It was not until 23 years later, after her own child reached the age of 21, that she finally felt compelled to come forward and report the abuse to the authorities.

Colley, who was unemployed at the time of his arrest, faced multiple charges including three counts of rape and indecent assault.
