January 2021 Pervert caught with 273 indecent images of children A teenager was caught with 273 indecent images of children. Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court heard Jayden Stones also had a picture of someone performing oral sex with a dog. But when confronted by police, he claimed he didn’t like the images and couldn’t explain why he had downloaded them onto his computer. Stones was aged just 16 and 17 when he stored them on his PC tower, using a file name with the phrase ‘vidsnudes’. Now aged 19, he has been sentenced to a two-year community order after admitting three charges of making indecent photos of children and one charge of possessing an extreme pornographic image. His stash included 80 pictures and videos in the most serious category A, 61 in category B and 132 images classed as category C. Prosecutor Jonathan Barker said police executed a search warrant at the defendant’s home on November 21. They seized the PC tower and analysed it. “The images that were found involved images of prepubescent children and infants,” he told the court. The creation dates ranged from January 2019 to September 2019. Mr Barker added: “The defendant was interviewed under caution. Among other things, he said he used ‘Kick’, which is an application on mobile phones, as a platform to discuss his interest in cross-dressing. “He sent images of himself to other users. He was also sent images by other people.” Stones, of Dovedale Close, Cheadle, later deleted the app, but stored the indecent images he had received from another user. As part of the community order, the defendant must complete an accredited sex offender programme and 45 rehabilitation activity days. As a registered sex offender, he will also have to comply with notification requirements for five years. And Judge Hancox also imposed a five-year sexual harm prevention order
