ANTHONY LOVATT FROM CHEADLE IN STAFFORDSHIRE CONVICTED OF ATTEMPTED MURDER AFTER BRUTAL STABBING INCIDENT

Anthony Lovatt, a 68-year-old resident of Cheadle in Staffordshire, has been found guilty of attempted murder following a violent assault that left two individuals injured. The incident unfolded on the evening of 8 November, when Lovatt tracked his former partner and a male victim to a residence in Cheadle. Witnesses and police reports indicate that Lovatt’s actions were premeditated and fueled by personal animosity.

According to court proceedings, Lovatt launched a savage attack on the male victim, stabbing him multiple times in the neck, chest, and abdomen. The injuries inflicted were severe enough to necessitate immediate surgical intervention, highlighting the brutality of the assault. In addition to targeting the male victim, Lovatt also assaulted his ex-partner, stabbing her in the chest.
