HESSLE ELECTRICIAN JAMIE KENDALL SENTENCED TO 40 YEARS FOR SICKENING SEX OFFENCES AGAINST CHILDREN

In a harrowing case that has shocked the community of Hessle, Jamie Kendall, a 35-year-old electrician residing on Barnetby Road, was sentenced to a lengthy term of 40 years in prison after being convicted of a series of heinous sex offences committed against four young children over a span of fourteen years.

The sentencing took place at Hull Crown Court, where a jury unanimously found Kendall guilty of 33 separate charges following an earlier trial. Throughout the proceedings, Kendall maintained a stance of complete defiance, pleading not guilty to all charges, which meant that his four victims were forced to endure the painful process of recounting their traumatic experiences in court.

The court was informed that Kendall exploited his position of trust within the community and his relationships with the victims to manipulate and abuse them over a prolonged period. His actions were described as systematic and predatory, targeting the vulnerabilities of his young victims for his own sexual gratification.

The offences for which Kendall was convicted included multiple counts of the most serious nature. These comprised ten counts of assault by penetration, eleven counts of sexual assault, two counts of causing a child to engage in sexual activity, and one count of attempted rape of a child under the age of 13. The severity and number of charges reflect the extent of the harm inflicted upon the victims.
