Three Bridges man jailed for rape and threat to kill Grant Minter, a 37-year-old man from Three Bridges, was sentenced at Lewes Crown Court on Friday to four and a half years in prison for the charges of rape and making a threat to kill.
He pleaded guilty to both charges.
As part of his sentence, Minter is also ordered to sign the Sex Offenders’ Register for life and pay a victim surcharge of £120.
Additionally, he was facing two other charges, one of intimidation and another of making a threat to kill, to which he pleaded not guilty; however, these charges will remain on file and he will not face trial for them.
Minter, of Copthorne Court, Tinsley Lane, had pleaded not guilty to these but the court decided they should stay on file.
