In a disturbing case that has shocked the local communities of Madeley and Woodside, Graham White, a 61-year-old parish councillor, has been officially placed on the sex offenders register after admitting to serious criminal conduct involving a minor.

White's criminal actions came to light when police executed a search of his residence in Woodside in January.

During this search, officers discovered a collection of indecent photographs involving a 14-year-old girl, which White had taken himself.

The evidence was compelling enough to lead to his guilty plea on four counts related to the possession and creation of these inappropriate images.
