In a disturbing case that has shocked the community of Southampton, Graham Robinson, a 52-year-old man from Shore Road, Hythe, was found guilty of attempting to commit an unspeakable act involving a dog he was entrusted to care for.The incident took place while the dog's owner and her 12-year-old daughter were away on holiday, leaving Robinson in charge of their six-year-old Great Dane.
According to court proceedings at Southampton Crown Court, Robinson was house-sitting the pet during the absence of the owner, who had installed a security camera system to monitor her property remotely.
