June 2015 42-year-old Pervert made profiles of young girls for use on chat rooms A father who has admitted four offences of downloading indecent images of children will be sentenced next month. Gavin Murphy, 42, of Currock Park Avenue, Currock, Carlisle, had been due to be sentenced at Carlisle Crown Court yesterday but lawyers said they needed more time to prepare the case. The court heard how the defendant had made internet profiles of young girls for use on chat rooms and prosecutor Kim Whittlestone said additional time was needed to explore that aspect of the case. Judge Peter Hughes QC adjourned the case to July 10. Murphy was granted bail with conditions including that he should have no unsupervised access with anyone aged under 18.
