GARY NASH FROM ST LEONARDS SENTENCED FOR CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE IN HOVE

In a case that has shocked the local community of St Leonards, a man named Gary Nash has been handed a lengthy prison sentence after being found guilty of heinous child sexual offenses. The crimes, which involved the repeated abuse of a very young girl over a period exceeding ten years, have finally been brought to justice through a thorough investigation conducted by safeguarding detectives.

Gary Nash, aged 39 and residing on Tower Road in St Leonards, appeared before Hove Crown Court on Thursday, September 8. During the proceedings, Nash admitted to two separate counts of sexual assault and a further charge of attempting to engage in penetrative sexual activity with a girl under the age of 13. These admissions laid the groundwork for the court to impose a significant sentence, reflecting the severity and duration of the abuse.

Following the court's judgment, Nash was sentenced to a total of 16 years in prison. Of this, eight years will be served behind bars, while the remaining eight years will be on extended licence, meaning he will be subject to strict supervision and conditions upon release.
