Gabriel Quigg

Belfast Coleraine Dungiven Sexual Abuser

July 2012 SEX PEST CAGED PERV STARTED SECRET RELATIONSHIP A CREEPY sex offender is back behind bars for starting a secret relationship with the mother of a teenage girl. Convicted paedophile Gabriel Quigg, 43, has to tell girlfriends that he is the subject of a (SOPO) Sexual Offence Prevention Order because of police fears about his behaviour. He is also banned from having any unsupervised contact with female children, being in a car with a female and going within 20 metres of parks, schools and leisure centres. But when he started going out with a Coleraine woman in May 2011 he never let on. Even more worryingly is that the middle-aged mother from the Ballysally area has a teenage daughter who Quigg tried to befriend. November 2011 Sex offence prevention order breached A man has been remanded in custody after he breached a Sexual Offences Prevention Order. Gabriel Joseph Quigg is 42, with an address on the Ormeau Road in Belfast. He is charged with breaching the court order last May by entering into a new relationship with a woman in Coleraine and also having contact with her schoolgirl daughter. No details of Quigg’s convictions were revealed in court on Saturday but Detective Constable Marron said he could only live in accommodation approved by probation and his designated risk manager. In October last year Quigg was put on probation for three years after he pleaded guilty to two counts of breaching his SOPO when the court heard he tried to read a girl’s palm after promising to give her 20. The court also heard that he attempted to kiss the teenager’s frightened mother who panicked and telephoned police. District Judge Bernadette Kelly remanded Quigg into custody to appear at Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday by videolink. January 2002 Charged with kidnap and attempted rape A DUNGIVEN man appeared at Londonderry Magistrates Court yesterday on charges of kidnapping and attempted rape. Unemployed Gabriel Joseph Quigg (32), from Priory Road, was further charged with false imprisonment and indecent assault.
