Scott, aged 28, has a documented history of controlling and aggressive conduct towards women he has been involved with. His previous convictions include multiple instances of abuse directed at different girlfriends. During one particularly alarming episode, he attempted to exert control over his partner by dictating her clothing choices and even ordered her to leave social gatherings against her will. On another occasion, he deliberately released the handbrake of her car, causing it to roll uncontrollably into a lamp post, an act that demonstrated his willingness to use dangerous tactics to intimidate her.
