June 2019 Man who failed to tell police he had a smart TV is jailed A man who failed to disclose his smart TV to police monitoring him has been jailed for six months. It put Colin Parry, 55, of Gilbert Street, Holyhead, in breach of a sexual harm prevention order. Caernarfon Crown Court judge, Recorder John Philpotts, said police visited Parry’s Anglesey home because a probation officer was worried about his drinking and internet use and he deliberately “misled” them. The judge told Parry, who admitted the offence: “The game is now up for you. You have had too many chances. I have a public duty to deter others like you from breaching these orders.” Prosecuting counsel Jemma Gordon said in 2016 Parry received a community order and sexual harm prevention order because of indecent images.
