BRADLEY DIXON FROM SLOUGH SENTENCED TO 27 YEARS FOR CHILD SEX OFFENCES IN BERKSHIRE

In a case that has shocked the community of Slough and the surrounding Berkshire area, Bradley Dixon, a 29-year-old man, has been handed a lengthy prison sentence of 27 years after being convicted of a series of heinous child sex offences. The sentencing took place at Reading Crown Court on June 14, following a detailed trial that concluded on January 23 of this year.

During the trial, the jury reached a majority verdict, finding Dixon guilty of a total of 18 separate charges related to the sexual abuse of a child. These charges included five counts of rape, three counts of attempted rape, six counts of sexual assault of a child, one count of assault of a child by penetration, and three counts of causing a child to engage in sexual activity. The offences spanned over a period of four years, during which Dixon’s victim was subjected to repeated acts of sexual violence and abuse.

The crimes were reported to Thames Valley Police in 2022, prompting an investigation that led to Dixon’s arrest. He was taken into custody on July 13, 2022, and formally charged two days later, on July 15. The case drew significant media attention due to the severity and nature of the offences, as well as the impact on the young victim.

Following his conviction, Dixon was ordered to register as a sex offender for life, a measure that underscores the gravity of his crimes and the ongoing risk he poses to the community.
