HAMZA JAVED FROM SLOUGH SENTENCED FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT AT READING CROWN COURT

Hamza Javed, a 27-year-old resident of Goodman Park in Slough, has been found guilty of a serious sexual assault that took place within the town.

The conviction was formally announced during a hearing at Reading Magistrates’ Court on the 30th of November, 2024, where Javed pleaded guilty to a single count of sexually assaulting a female victim.

Following this, the case was escalated to Reading Crown Court, where Javed received a custodial sentence of one year and two months.

The court proceedings revealed that in the year 2024, Javed targeted an elderly woman residing in Slough.

He approached her under false pretenses, claiming to be a healthcare professional, and gained entry into her home.

Once inside, he committed a sexual assault against her, an act that has caused significant distress to the victim and has been deemed a serious criminal offense.

The police acted swiftly after the incident came to light.

Javed was arrested on the 28th of November, just days after the assault.

The following day, he was formally charged with the offense, leading to his appearance in court and subsequent conviction.
