ANDREW PATTERSON ROCHESTER PERVERT SENTENCED TO 13 YEARS FOR SEXUAL ABUSE OF YOUNG GIRL IN KENT

Andrew Patterson, aged 37, had previously admitted to three counts of rape and two counts of sexual assault. His criminal record also includes admitting to making and distributing indecent images of children, with these offenses occurring between March 5 and March 27. This sentence comprises 13 years of incarceration, with an additional five years on extended licence, meaning he must serve at least two-thirds of his prison term before being eligible for parole. Once released, he will face a further five-year extension to his licence period, ensuring ongoing supervision.

Furthermore, Patterson was subjected to a range of stringent measures designed to prevent further harm. He was placed under an indefinite sexual harm prevention order and mandated to register as a sex offender indefinitely. The court also prohibited him from working with children or vulnerable adults, reflecting the serious concern for public safety.
