TEACHER BANNED AFTER TELLING PUPIL HE WOULD HAVE SEX WITH HER WHEN SHE TURNED 18
A teacher was caught on secret recordings complimenting a pupil’s ‘nice arse’ and telling her ‘you’re one horny girl’.Amrinder Singh Pannu, 38, the head of science at St Mark’s School in south London, has been banned from teaching after engaging in inappropriate behaviour with the student, referred to as Pupil A.
In secret voice notes made by Pupil A during a free period, he is alleged to have told her ‘you’re one horny girl man; f***’ and ‘you’re not teasing me I know you want it’.
In the conversation, Pupil A said to Pannu ‘I don’t have a big arse’, to which Pannu responded, ‘No, but it’s a nice arse’.
Pupil A asked if he would have sex with her when she turned 18, to which Pannu responded ‘a few months then later yeah’.
He also said that ‘if you were in a different school then it would have been a different story’.
Pannu was suspended and the school initiated an investigation.
He told a Teaching Regulatory Agency panel that he was concerned about Pupil A’s behaviour but dismissed it as ‘being akin to a crush or pushing boundaries’.
He insisted there was no physical contact and all interactions took place across a desk.
The panel permanently banned him from teaching after recommending a prohibition order with no review opportunity.
A spokesperson for Anthem Schools Trust stated that Pannu was suspended and dismissed in 2018 when the incident was uncovered, and that no current student was taught by him.
The school remains rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted post-2024 inspection.
