ALLAN AND DAVID CRISP FROM MIDDLESBROUGH ESCAPE PRISON DESPITE HORRIFIC CHILD PORN AND BESTIALITY IMAGES

In a case that has shocked the Middlesbrough community, twin brothers Allan Crisp and David Crisp faced serious allegations involving the possession and distribution of disturbing images, including child pornography and bestiality content. Despite the gravity of their offenses, both individuals were spared immediate imprisonment after a judge determined that they required professional help rather than incarceration.

The court proceedings, held at Teesside Crown Court, revealed the extent of their illegal activities. Allan Crisp, aged 52, and his brother David, were both from Middlesbrough, and their cases drew significant attention due to the disturbing nature of their offenses. The judge, Recorder Howard Crowson, emphasized that their interest in viewing and sharing such illicit images contributed to the broader problem of child abuse and exploitation.

During the hearing, it was disclosed that police had conducted a raid on David Crisp’s residence in Phillips Avenue, Middlesbrough, in February 2006. The search uncovered thousands of pornographic images and videos, many of which involved animals, with over 14,000 photographs specifically depicting animals. Additionally, images of children were found stored on his computer and on various discs. The following day, authorities searched Allan Crisp’s home in Wheatley Close, where they discovered a computer in his garage containing further images of children.

The investigation was described as extensive, involving the viewing of approximately 1,000 videos and a detailed examination of the computers, which cost around £13,000. Prosecutor Harry Hadfield stated that the evidence was overwhelming and that the material found was deeply disturbing. David Crisp admitted to having an interest in teenage girls and confessed to police that he derived pleasure from filming young people in public spaces.

It was also revealed that Allan Crisp, who works in the computer industry and is a father of two, had been left by his wife of 23 years following his arrest. His legal representative, Dan Cordey, argued that sending Allan to prison would result in him losing everything he had, including his career and family.

In court, David Crisp pleaded guilty to 15 counts of making indecent images of children, possessing pseudo images of children, and possessing a significant number of indecent images. He was sentenced to a 24-month community order, with the court emphasizing the need for him to undergo a sex offenders’ group work programme.

Allan Crisp faced more severe charges, including 16 counts of making indecent images, five counts of creating pseudo photographs, one count of distributing such images, and possessing 20 indecent pictures of children. He was sentenced to a 12-month jail term, suspended for two years, and was ordered to undergo 24 months of probation supervision. Both brothers were also prohibited from working with children and were mandated to register as sex offenders—Allan for seven years and David for five.

Judge Crowson made it clear that while the sentences were lenient given the nature of the crimes, the brothers’ need for intervention and supervision was paramount to prevent further harm.
