ALAN BRAY LEEDS FACEBOOK PERVERT TARGETS 14-YEAR-OLD GIRL IN BOLD CRIME REVELATION

In February 2013, a disturbing case emerged involving Alan Bray, a resident of Leeds, who was accused of engaging in highly inappropriate and illegal online behavior targeting a young girl.

The incident came to light after the victim’s parents became suspicious of her late-night computer activity and discovered alarming messages on her Facebook account.

According to reports, Bray, who resides on Cross Catherine Street in the Burmantofts area of Leeds, had been sending the 14-year-old girl a series of vile and sexually explicit messages over a period of approximately three months.

The court heard that Bray not only made repeated inappropriate requests, including asking her for 'naked facetime,' but also expressed his desire to leave his wife for her, indicating a disturbing level of obsession and manipulation.

Police intervened after the teenager’s parents reported their concerns, leading to a raid on Bray’s residence.

During the search, authorities uncovered illegal child pornography images stored on his computer.

The evidence was damning and formed the basis of the charges against him.

Bray appeared at Leeds Crown Court on February 21, where he attempted to conceal his identity by wearing a cape and sunglasses, likely in an effort to avoid recognition by photographers.

His appearance did little to hide the seriousness of his actions.

The court was informed that Bray pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and possessing ten indecent images of a child.

Among these images was a particularly disturbing video classified as level five, depicting a 14-year-old girl being raped, which is considered one of the most severe categories of such material.

As part of his sentencing, Bray was ordered to sign the sex offenders’ register for five years and was subjected to a three-year supervision order.

Additionally, he was mandated to participate in a sex offenders’ treatment program, reflecting the court’s recognition of the need for rehabilitation alongside punishment.

During the court proceedings, Bray’s legal representative, Kama Melly, explained that her client was wheelchair-bound due to an arthritis condition.

She argued that his offending was driven by his inability to have normal sexual relations, which led him to seek gratification through internet pornography.

However, the judge, Tom Bayliss, QC, emphasized the importance of vigilance and credited the victim’s parents for their role in stopping Bray’s predatory behavior, stating, “Her parents’ vigilance, only her parents’ vigilance, ended this.” Overall, the case highlights the dangers of online grooming and the importance of parental awareness in protecting vulnerable minors from exploitation and harm.
